Bespoke Slatted Fence on Top of Existing Wall

We were recently asked to design and install a bespoke slatted fence on top of an existing wall for a client who wanted more privacy in their rear garden.

We started by sourcing the best quotes for materials. We decided on 75mm x 75mm posts with rebar inserted into them. The posts were drilled into the top of the wall and resin fixed. We spaced the posts evenly along each side of the wall.

The slats were made from 50mm x 25mm cedar. We fixed the slats to the posts using 2mm spacers. We finished the fence with Osmo cedar tinted oil.

The client was very happy with the finished result. The fence provides them with the privacy they wanted, and it also looks great.
